Hermitage Amsterdam "Splendour and Glory Art of the Russian Orthodox Church" (until 16th September 2011). New exhibition: "Rubens, Van Dyck & Jordaens" Flemish paintings from the Hermitage (from 17th September to 16th March 2012). Rijksmuseum "Rembrandt & Degas" Exhibition looking at Rembrandt's influence on French impressionist Edgar Degas. Runs to 23rd October 2011. Rijksmuseum Schiphol "Dutch Girls: Holland's Golden Top Models" 9 portrait paintings from the 17th century on show at the airport. Free entry, runs from 7th September to 12th December 2011. Van Gogh Museum "Stepping out in Montmartre: Prints of cafés and theatres" prints and theatre programmes by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen and Henri-Gabriel Ibels (to 11th September 2011). "Van Gogh in Antwerp and Paris: New Perspectives" (to 18th September). Anne Frank House "Margot, Anne's sister" small temporary exhibition about the sister of Anne Frank. Ends 15th September.
Tropenmuseum "Soulscape Road" Black and white photo exhibition by Indonesian photographer Oscar Motuloh featuring Indonesia's natural disasters. Runs until 20th November 2011. Rembrandt House "Printed in Amsterdam Printmakers and Publishers in the Golden Age" runs until 18th September 2011. Jewish Historical Museum "From Dada to Surrealism" Jewish Avant-Garde Artists from Romania. Runs until 2nd October 2011. "Unguarded Moments" German photographer Marianne Breslauer captured unguarded moments in modern city life. Until 13th November 2011. FOAM Photo Museum "Still/Life" contemporary Dutch photography. Opens 9th September, until 26th October 2011. Nieuwe Kerk "Church Warden: Mart Visser" the Dutch fashion designer presents a fashion themed installation at the church. Runs throughout September (to 2nd October 2011). Huis Marseille "Scarlett Hooft Graafland: Soft Horizons" Exhibition of temporary sculptures photographed in rugged and desolate locations. Opens 10th September (until 20th November 2011). Bags & Purses Museum Gabriella Ingram; the bag as a work of art in inspired combinations runs to 9th October 2011. Museum Geelvinck "India at home tracks of a colonial past" ongoing till 10th November 2011. Museum van Loon "Van Loon Rides Out" exhibition on the newly restored coach house.
