AmsterdamTips.com was launched back in January 2007 and has been running independently for over 12 years.
At the time of its founding, there was a distinct lack of quality information in English to help international visitors – whether tourists, students or expats – to navigate their way around Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
Editor Luc first came to Amsterdam in the late 1990s and has developed the site with input from a small group of contributors. We have strived to provide relevant, up-to-date information on various aspects using our local insider knowledge.
From comprehensive transport/travel information, a specially curated monthly what’s on guide, tips on days out, museums, things to do etc plus advice on moving to and living in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
As visitor numbers to Amsterdam have increased significantly over the years, AmsterdamTips.com has also grown and is well established as a major online Amsterdam guide
The site is now published by LF Media which is registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
