Amsterdam is well-renowned for having a large number of diverse festivals on its cultural calendar. Events run throughout the entire year, although the main festival season peaks during the summer months. Note, due to ‘coronavirus’ measures most large events in the Netherlands are still being cancelled as of mid 2021. Festivals have either had to cancel entirely, rescheduled dates or offered a scaled-down version.
