Megabus offers cheap coach (bus) travel from Amsterdam to London, Paris and Brussels, with fares from around £12/€15 and sometimes even less.
Megabus is run by the Stagecoach Group which offers discount intercity bus services in the UK and US.
Since 2012, Megabus has operated the following international coach services to/from Amsterdam:
London-Amsterdam: This service runs up to 2x daily (1 day service, 1 overnight service) in each direction. International passengers must first check-in at the desk with their passport or relevant ID card at London Victoria coach station. The Amsterdam-bound bus travels to either Dover or Ramsgate for a ferry crossing to Calais or Boulogne which is included in the price.
The total journey time to Amsterdam will be around 10 hours with various stops (soon to include Gent, Antwerp and Rotterdam).
Timetable: London-Amsterdam 1030-2115 / 2130-0900; Amsterdam-London 0900-1800 / 2120-0730.

Amsterdam-Paris: This service also runs up to 2x daily (1 day service, 1 overnight service) in each direction taking 7-8 hours. Amsterdam-Paris 1100-1900 / 2300-0620; Paris-Amsterdam 1030-1830 / 2330-0640. There can be a stop in Brussels.
Amsterdam-Brussels: This is a 2x daily service with scheduled travel time around 3 hours. Amsterdam-Brussels 1130-1430 / 2300-0200; Brussels-Amsterdam 0400-0640 / 1530-1830.
Megabus tickets can be purchased in £ sterling or € euros up to 2 months in advance. Prices vary but standard fares on all routes start at £12 or €15 each way. Special £5 or €6 fares can be found on occasion. London-Amsterdam fares can get higher at peak periods such as August or around Christmas. Note, there is a £0.50/€0.50 booking fee on top.
Bookings can be made online at megabus.com or via an (expensive) premium rate UK telephone number. There are no sales office points in Europe.
Megabus has a fleet of 10 coaches for this European operation which have toilet facilities and free WiFi on board. Luggage allowance is 25kg plus one piece of hand baggage.
Competitor Eurolines (National Express) can also offer low fares on the same routes, so it's well worth comparing prices.
iDBUS is a SNCF French Railways subsidiary which runs a premium coach service between London, Amsterdam and Paris via Lille.
Megabus coach stops
Megabus stop in Amsterdam: Megabus coaches depart/arrive from Zeeburg Park&Ride (P&R) coach park at Zuiderzeeweg. This location is about 4km east of central station and can be reached in 10 minutes by using GVB tram 26. The tram stop (Zuiderzeeweg/Piet Heintunnel) is literally next door to the P&R car park where the bus departs. The trams operate up to 10x hourly between 0600-0030. A one way ticket can be bought on board for €2.80, note cheaper fares are possible using an anonymous OV-chip card. Also see here for more info on public transport tickets in Amsterdam. Megabus stop in Brussels: Coaches depart/arrive from Brussels Rue De Cardinal Mercier coach stand outside Wings Tavern. Close to Brussels central station in the heart of the city.
Megabus stop in Paris: Located at Porte Maillot coach park, near the Palais de Congres - just west of the main centre. Close by are Porte Maillot station (Metro line 1) and Neuilly-Porte Maillot station (RER line C).
Megabus stop in London: Coaches depart/arrive from Victoria Coach Station (stands 15-20) on Buckingham Palace Road. Across the road from Victoria train and tube stations.
