
Flixbus is a long-distance international bus company from Germany. It operates coach services from Amsterdam and other Dutch cities to both Germany and European destinations.
Flixbus was first established in 2013 following the deregulation of the German bus market. It has since expanded rapidly and has effectively taken over rivals MeinFernBus (2015), Megabus Europe (2016) and Eurolines (2020).

Flixbus offers regular services between Amsterdam and dozens of cities in Germany. This large German network includes the likes of Berlin, Cologne, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Heidelberg, Koblenz, Mannheim, Munich and Stuttgart…. plus many other smaller cities.

Flixbus: on board the coach
Flixbus uses a fleet of modern buses with comfortable seating (78cm/31″ pitch), power sockets and free WiFi. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on board. All buses have a toilet facility.

On some buses it is possible to reserve a seat on board during the booking. This can be a Classic seat (standard), Table seat (on lower deck of double deckers with 4 seats facing together), Panorama seat (at the front of the bus) and an Extra seat (to guarantee keeping the seat next to you free).
Ticketed passengers are able to bring 1 case with maximum weight of 20kg (80 x 50 x 30cm) plus one piece of hand luggage (max 7kg, 42 x 30 x 18cm).
Flixbus Coach Stops in Amsterdam
Flixbus has 5 stops in Amsterdam.
1. The main stop is just outside Amsterdam Sloterdijk station – on the northern side at Piarcoplein, 1043 DW Amsterdam. Flixbus has a small service office near the Sloterdijk coach stop which also has a ticket vending machine outside.

Sloterdijk can be easily reached by train from Amsterdam Central station – the journey takes 5 minutes and the standard fare is €3.60 for a disposable ticket (or €2.60 by e-ticket/OV-chip card/OVpay)

2. There is a Flixbus stop near Amsterdam Bijlmer-ArenA station – the address is Hoogoorddreef, 1101 BA Amsterdam. This bus stop is on the main road just south of the bus station. Biljmer-ArenA can be reached by train and metro lines 50/54.
3. Flixbus also serves Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with a number of services. It uses the Touring Coaches Terminal (stops F6-F9) on Koepelstraat, 1118 CP Amsterdam.
4. Flixbus has a limited number of services from Amsterdam Central Station at the bus stop H of the IJ-side bus station. The address is De Ruijterkade, 1012 AB Amsterdam.
5. Finally Flixbus has a stop at Amsterdam Holendrecht – outside the station at Meibergdreef 3, 1105 AX Amsterdam.
Flixbus Coach Stops in Randstad, Netherlands
Rotterdam: The main stop is near Rotterdam Central station at Conradstraat 52, 3013 Rotterdam – international bus stop, platform GG. There is also a stop at Rotterdam Zuidplein.
The Hague: The stop is just outside Den Haag Central station – on Prins Bernhardviaduct, Busplatform, 2516 EH The Hague on level +1.
Utrecht: At CS Jaarbeurszijde (Platform C8), 3511 CE Utrecht – near Utrecht Central station (Jaarbeurs-side). There are also stops at Utrecht Leidsche Rijn Centrum and Utrecht P+R Westraven.
Flixbus Coach Stops at Selected Destinations
Antwerp: The main Flixbus stop is at Rooseveltplats (B5) near Antwerp Central station. There are also stops at Antwerpen Berchem (Borsbeekbrug), Antwerp P+R Luchtbal, Antwerp Noorderplaats and Waypoint Antwerp Stadspark .

Brussels: There are 4 Flixbus stops: one at Brussels Noord station (Rue du Progrès 123); at Brussels Zuid/Midi station (Rue de France); at Brussels Koning Boudewijn metrostation on Avenue des Magnolias / Magnolialaan; and at Brussels South at Avenue Fonsny 1.
Lille: The main bus stop is at Boulevard de Turin, near Lille Europe station.
Paris: There are 8 Flixbus stops in Paris, the main ones being: Bercy Seine (210 Quai de Bercy); Paris (Pershing – Porte Maillot); at Paris La Défense (Terminal Jules Verne). Please check your Paris Flixbus stop carefully!
Berlin: There are 8 Flixbus stops in Berlin: the main one is at Berlin Central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof at Masurenallee 4-6). Please check your Berlin Flixbus stop carefully!

London: Flixbus has 13 stops in London. The main stop is at London Victoria Coach Station at 164 Buckingham Palace Road, across the road from Victoria station.
