Bazar is an atmospheric restaurant in De Pijp located in a beautiful former church building on the Albert Cuyp straat. Inspired by Turkish, Moroccan and other Arabic / North African cuisine it offers interesting and value-for-money meals. It is well worth a visit if you are in the De Pijp / Albert Cuyp market area. |
Bazar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve Arabic style breakfasts (€4-8), sandwiches (€4-7), soups (€4-5), starters (€4-7), mains (€9-16) and desserts (€4-6). Vegetarian options are available; all meat served is "halal".

The decor is striking with colourful wall tiles (check out the bathrooms as well) and interesting lamps and lighting effects. Capacity is large, spread over 2 levels and the place is suitable for both large and small groups - it can get busy at peak times being very popular with locals.
We found Bazar to be well staffed with quick service - although we visited in the early evening when the place was only half full.
